I fell in love with Pilates! it has not only helped me manage my pain & injury it helped me connect to my mind & spirit and feel strong within my body. I completed my Pilates Certification through HQ and love being a part of my clients journey seeing their lives change as they invest in their health & fitness !!

I have been with MPF for over 3 years and currently am Studio Manager, Sales Manager, and Pilates Instructor @ Rouse Hill, and Mother of 2 boys! I also love getting out in Nature and spending quality time with Family !

I am looking forward to the future with Mpf to grow as an instructor through more education moving into Apparatus

I have a love and passion for helping people reach their goals and anything they want to achieve . I have been in many fitness and body building comps in Sydney and Queensland.

When I'm not in the gym training and helping others, my passion is dance and i take every opportunity I can to either teach or expand my knowledge in different styles of dance.

I am a mother or 2 young children who are just as active . We love playing sports and spending time in the sun swimming and at the beach.

Sarah

Sarah

Sarah has been a firm believer in moving her body to promote physical and mental health and well-being from a young age. She loved all of the team sports at school, enjoyed Bootcamp communities in her 20's and then fell in love with trail running after having her two children. It became her sacred time and space to connect with herself.

Her passion for exercise compelled her to change careers to become a Personal Trainer. She wanted to help others find their passion through movement and connection.

Having had the wonderful experience of being a client of MPF Pilates classes - overcoming lower back issues she always experienced during her trail running adventures - she found the benefits of Pilates so empowering. It made her feel even more connected....body, mind and spirit. It became another sacred space for her.

She realised she wanted to teach Pilates with the dream of empowering others to have their own journey with Pilates and experience the many benefits of this particular form of movement. So she completed her Reformer and Matwork accreditations and has been a part of the MPF family ever since.

Her main belief about Pilates is that it is for everybody and ANY BODY! She delights in seeing others go from strength to strength, heal physically and emotionally in a studio that promotes self-love and belief yourself.

She used Pilates to get her body back post 3 children and huge weight gain....focusing on her internal strength & positive mindset.

Together with Simon they started MPF with a series of group HIiT /Pilates/Trampfit & Strength Training sessions.

Bahar Bahrami: Pilates Instructor

Bahar has been practicing Pilates for almost 16 years and teaching for seven.

She has Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Bachelor of Computer Science in her home country and has been working as a photographer since 2012.

Her discovery of Pilates was due to back pain caused by standing in photography sessions for hours every day. Bahar noticed an improvement in her posture after a year of doing Pilates as a client and realized that it was the best way to prevent injury and build strong body awareness. A career change was on the horizon, and Bahar knew that this was exactly what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Bahar started her Pilates journey in her home country, where she completed a Mat Work Course (including Theraband, Ring, and Ball), was certified by the West Asia Pilates Alliance, and started working as a Mat Pilates Instructor. Bahar moved to Australia, with her family in early 2017.

She completed the BASI Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training course, as well as the BASI Mentor Course of the Legacy Program. Bahar has also taken some other BASI Pilates courses, such as Pilates Through Pregnancy and Beyond. She enjoys empowering people through Pilates and assisting them discover their own bodies' potential, and loves working with them to help them achieve their goals.

As an instructor, Bahar has found the importance in establishing strong foundations and awareness to ensure each movement counts, as well as building trust between herself and her clients to help them get the most out of each visit. She looks forward to constantly furthering her knowledge and learning from many inspiring Pilates specialists as well as sharing the BASI method with upcoming clients.

Christine Patman

Christine is a wife, mum of two and very importantly a grandma of two. She grew up not so much a sports person but more interested in the "why" of sport, movement and exercise. Doing compulsory physical culture through primary school and high school, Christine then played Softball until the arrival of her first baby. Christine always remained interested in the "why" we move a certain way and the different results we get when we do move in certain ways; as well as the different way we feel and behave when we are exercising compared to when we are not exercising or participating in any physical activities.

Christine discovered Pilates in the 1980s while she was an "at home mum" but at that stage thought that it wasn't quite what she needed. She became very keen on aerobics and weight training. Then in 1991 became a Fitness Leader (Aerobics and Gym Instructor) studying with the NSW Department of Sport & Recreation and registered with the NSW Fitness Advisory Council aged 41.

Returning to the "proper" workforce in her Commercial (Business) role, Christine's career lead to working for the last 26 years as Practice Manager for Cardiothoracic Surgeons at Westmead dealing with cardiac health and disease for patients from birth to 98/99 year olds with pacemakers. This gave her the opportunity to gain an insight into how important exercise and movement is to our general health and wellbeing. In the adult patient genre there were people who had been through hip and knee repair/replacement surgeries, back surgeries and now transitioning through cardiac surgery. The importance of being in the "best health possible" going through these times in life became very obvious. The healthier and more mobile you are going into these surgeries the easier the transition is and you will have a far better outcome.

During these years Christine had been doing Mat pilates on and off at a few different studios then joined MPF Bella Vista in 2018 doing Mat Pilates, strength classes and boxing. It was when MPF introduced the Reformers for Pilates that she knew she found her life goal - Reformer Pilates. In 2022 Christine "went back to study" with The Studio Academy for Pilates and qualified as Reformer Pilates Instructor and Mat Pilates Instructor at age 72. Christine instructs MPFs Active Ager Classes and group reformer classes.
