Pilates is all about precision of movement and the ability to strengthen weaker points in the body. By activating your muscles with certain techniques you are constantly burning calories and fat, for even up to an hour after the class!
By isolating and activating your muscles during your Pilates workout you burn deep stored fat cells and also reduce cortisol levels(stress hormones), all while training within a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Pilates is an all over body workout designed to stretch, strengthen and tone your muscles. Great for injury rehabilitation, sore lower backs and post birth to get the body fired up and back on track, whilst keeping you in the zen zone!
Through education, support, inspiration, everyone’s physical needs and goals will be achieved throughout Dural Pilates sessions. Studio Pilates Dural instructors strive to deliver precise and high-quality workouts to all clientele.

Meet the Team
Lindy believes that the most inspiring aspect of teaching Pilates is witnessing people strengthening their physical capabilities while at the same time enhancing their broader wellbeing.
She has found a new respect for each person’s physical intelligence, and that science can help people move better. The joy on a client’s face, when achieving something they thought was not possible, makes teaching Pilates so worthwhile for her.
Lindy started her Pilates journey a few years ago after having children and wanting to strengthen her core. Her movement practise covers Matwork (Contrology) and Reformer. Most days Lindy likes to go the gym, walk the dogs or ride her bike. Lindy functions at her best when she has had her morning coffee!
Lindy’s favourite moto is: The body achieves what the mind believes (Napoleon Hill). Lindy has Certificate IV in Matwork and Reformer as well as a Diploma in Clinical Pilates with Breathe Education.
Emily has always loved teaching movement with 20+ years experience as a freelance dance teacher, before training as a Pilates instructor with Studio Pilates International. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance studying with UWS.
Emily is married with four beautiful children that keep her busy when she's not in the studio instructing.
She believes that movement is important for both physical and mental health, and counts it a privilege to be a part of people’s journey as they become stronger, rehabilitate, and accomplish things they haven't been able to do before.
Amanda spent her childhood playing various sports and doing physical culture up until her early 20s....taking time off to have children her sporting spark got re-ignited in 2012 when her brother Simon approached her about starting a P.T business in the Hills she started with a Pilates & moved into personal training.
She used Pilates to get her body back post 3 children and huge weight gain....focusing on her internal strength & positive mindset.
Together with Simon they started MPF with a series of group HIiT /Pilates/Trampfit & Strength Training sessions.
Over the years as the business has developed Amanda has focused on her Pilates training as a side kick to Personal Training and found passion in assisting clients back from injury and post birth easing them back into hard training using Pilates to restructure their bodies! She has full studio and reformer qualifications teamed with rehabilitation and an extensive knowledge of mat work.
Amanda is holistic in her approach to clients focused on emotionally connecting them to their bodies and following the Pilates principals and engaging them in their fitness journey on a mind / body & soul level.
Shriya is an enthusiastic individual driven by her desire to connect with and help people.
Shriya discovered Pilates while looking for an escape from the daily grind and fell in love with it instantly. As someone who felt at home in the gym and at yoga, she was drawn to Pilates as the perfect fusion of resistance training and flexibility-building. She completed her Pilates certification through Breathe Education in Gold Coast.
She noticed a profound transformation in how her body felt and moved both during and after classes. She wishes to bring these physical and mental transformations to her clients and wants to make exercise accessible for people with any ability and skill level by creating a safe and empowering environment in her classes. Come move in ways you don't expect.
Apart from Pilates, Shriya loves baking, dancing, going for walks or hikes and anything to do with the water, whether it be waterfalls, kayaking, paddle boarding or just relaxing at the beach!
I originally began my Pilates journey to improve my core strength and become stronger overall. I started off doing Mat-work once a week with my Mum for a bit of fun and my love for Pilates stemmed from there! It is always different, dynamic and challenges the mind and body. Pilates provides me with an outlet to focus solely on myself, my mind to body connection through different movements and helps my balance and stability. I am blessed to work with wonderful people and supporting clients on their own personal journeys with Pilates is beyond fulfilling.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and once finished, I will pursue a Masters of Occupational Therapy focusing on rehabilitation. Outside of work and study, I love being out on the water either swimming, sailing or rowing!
Pilates is one of my many passions alongside health and fitness. I started pilates myself with Shay and the MPF team and grew in love with it ever since! Pilates has done wonders to my body and has helped me heal from my precious injuries.
Furthermore, I am a full time occupational therapy student at university and I love the idea of making people feel their best. I love interacting with my clients at the studio, building friendly relationships. Teaching pilates is more than making people fit, it allows me to guide people from where they are to where they want to go.
