Pilates is all about precision of movement and the ability to strengthen weaker points in the body. By activating your muscles with certain techniques you are constantly burning calories and fat, for even up to an hour after the class!

By isolating and activating your muscles during your Pilates workout you burn deep stored fat cells and also reduce cortisol levels(stress hormones), all while training within a relaxed and comfortable environment.

All our sessions are small and concentrated with the maximum number in a class being 6 people ensuring you get the attention you deserve. Our studios use state of the art equipment to ensure you are working with the best. Our studio has a friendly vibe to make all feel welcome and at home.

Fitness classes 6 days a week

Group fitness classes run 6 days a week and each class is 45 minutes long.

Our classes are universally scalable, meaning they are designed to be equally challenging to all regardless of past experience or fitness.

Natalie Clarke

Introducing Natalie, Nat is the sales Manager for MPF and a qualified Personal Trainer. Nat is currently studying at studio Pilates to become a fully qualified Pilates instructor and fulfill her one of her lifelong dreams.

Natalie believes Pilates is a journey of the mind body and spirit, she is enthusiastic about connection, community, and empowering people to reach their potential!

Natalie is a mother of two teenage boys and enjoys leading an active lifestyle, especially spending time at the beach with friends and family.

Nicole Adamson

Coming from a sporty childhood, Nicole has always been an active person. Keeping still is not something she finds easy to do. Nicole is a big believer in challenging yourself both physically and mentally. Nicole also works as a therapy assistant with clients who have disabilities, which she says has really made her appreciate life and the opportunities that come from it. She believes the human body is an amazing thing and says we should all be taking advantage of our abilities every day.

Nicole enjoys functional strength, HIIT and metabolic conditioning training. When Nicole is not working her butt off in the gym, or whipping her clients into shape, she is either out enjoying the outdoors and discovering new parts of nature or at her local pub watching sports. Her passion for staying active and helping others is what led her to a career in the health and fitness and now furthering her studies at university to become an Exercise Physiologist.

Millie

Louise Marvin

Louise is an ESSA Accredited Exercise Scientist with over 6 years' experience working as a sports scientist for professional and elite sporting teams in the Australian National Rugby League, US Major League Soccer & NWSL, and the Australian Para-Cycling Team. Louise's passion for health, sport, and fitness stemmed from a childhood competing at a state and national level in swimming, athletics, cross country, and triathlons. Most recently, Louise represented South Australia in the Australian Half Marathon Championships and Cross-Country Championships. Louise has a Sports Science degree and a Masters in High Performance Sport and is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Newcastle, studying deceleration ability and training interventions in soccer players. Louise is also completing her Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Accreditation. Louise's training philosophy reflects her experience working with athletic populations, and she applies these same training principles to her clients. Louise is a firm believer that "if I wouldn't prescribe a session for myself or an advanced trainer, then I wouldn't prescribe it to anyone in the general population".

Lauren Uidem

As a degree qualified teacher, Lauren initially discovered her love for Pilates after having her three children and appreciated the benefits of increasing her strength, control and confidence.

In 2017, not long after falling in love with the Pilates method, she wanted to share her two passions and completed Pilates BASI and International Barre certification. More recently, Lauren has added her full Pilates studio training, through Polestar Pilates to deepen her knowledge and application of the method.

Her approach to movement is to meet your where you are at, no matter who you are or what your experience level is. She believes in a wholistic approach to wellness and the importance of a strong mind & body connection.

Other than Pilates, Lauren enjoys cooking, spending time with her family in the outdoors, skiing and beach trips.

Lindy Burger

Lindy believes that the most inspiring aspect of teaching Pilates is witnessing people strengthening their physical capabilities while at the same time enhancing their broader wellbeing.

She has found a new respect for each person’s physical intelligence, and that science can help people move better. The joy on a client’s face, when achieving something they thought was not possible, makes teaching Pilates so worthwhile for her.

Lindy started her Pilates journey a few years ago after having children and wanting to strengthen her core. Her movement practise covers Matwork (Contrology) and Reformer. Most days Lindy likes to go the gym, walk the dogs or ride her bike. Lindy functions at her best when she has had her morning coffee!

Lindy’s favourite moto is: The body achieves what the mind believes (Napoleon Hill). Lindy has Certificate IV in Matwork and Reformer as well as a Diploma in Clinical Pilates with Breathe Education.

Teresa Nati

Back in her best friend's lounge room circa 2001, Teresa popped on a Mari Winsor Pilates VHS and started counting to 100. It was here that she found her core, along with her love of Pilates. Teresa continued mastering her personal practise, discovering the myriad of benefits that 'Contrology' has for both the body and the mind.

Teresa then decided to turn her hobby into her career to share this passion. She completed her studies with Polestar Pilates and holds their Studio Certification, although she enjoys nothing more than continually learning from each person she is lucky enough to teach. Teresa will focus on the 'why' in your session, not just the how, to ensure a truly individualised and tailored Pilates prescription. Besides Pilates, Teresa loves curling up with a good book, preferably by the beach!

Teresa can't wait to meet you, share her love of Pilates with you, and guide you through your own Pilates journey.

Alyna Rost

BA, Diploma Of Pilates, ARAD, Grad. English National Ballet School, London. Alyna has been dancing since she was six years old and started her training in Sydney, Australia and then progressed to the Boston, Ballet School in the USA and the English National Ballet in London. Dancing 'Swan Lake' at the Royal Albert Hall in front of the Queen was a career highlight.

Alyna was first introduced to Pilates when she was twelve years old. It was during her time in London whilst studying and dancing with The English National Ballet School, that Pilates became part of her daily training.

It was through the exploration of Pilates that Alyna became intrigued by the movements, muscle strength and muscle lengthening Pilates provided. Alyna recognized the benefits of Pilates and the well-being it created.

Alyna completed her accreditation of Diploma of Pilates teacher training at Polestar Pilates Australia and achieved the status of a Polestar Mentor.

Alyna owned and operated a successful Pilates Studio for over eight years and this expanded her wealth of experience and expertise. Alyna is committed, enthusiastic and passionate about contributing to the health and wellbeing of her clients.

Alyna has also completed a degree in Bachelor of Media with a focus in writing and dance.

Angela Black

Keen to avoid surgery following a running injury, Angela looked to Pilates as a way to rehabilitate and balance muscle. By the second week, Angela knew this was a form of therapy she wanted to pursue professionally. Since then, Angela has gained her Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction from Polestar Pilates Australia. Angela is now both an Assistant Educator and Mentor for Polestar Pilates.

Angela brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience as an operating room nurse. Her clinical specialities are diverse and include urology, cardio-thoracic, orthopaedics, general surgery, obstetrics and robotics. Angela combines this broad knowledge base with Pilates and uses this comprehension of surgery to help clients prepare for surgery and assist them in recovery.

Angela performed for eight years with Opera Australia as a professional opera singer and appreciates the importance of breath in facilitating movement as well as the vitality from breath-body connection.

Angela’s philosophy towards Pilates is that it can benefit everyone, that it’s less about moving perfectly and more about moving optimally for the individual.

Emily Crawford

Emily has always loved teaching movement with 20+ years experience as a freelance dance teacher, before training as a Pilates instructor with Studio Pilates International.

She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance studying with UWS.

Emily is married with four beautiful children that keep her busy when she's not in the studio instructing.

She believes that movement is important for both physical and mental health, and counts it a privilege to be a part of people’s journey as they become stronger, rehabilitate, and accomplish things they haven't been able to do before.

Amanda Jane

Amanda spent her childhood playing various sports and doing physical culture up until her early 20s....taking time off to have children her sporting spark got re-ignited in 2012 when her brother Simon approached her about starting a P.T business in the Hills she started with a Pilates & moved into personal training.

She used Pilates to get her body back post 3 children and huge weight gain....focusing on her internal strength & positive mindset.

Together with Simon they started MPF with a series of group HIiT /Pilates/Trampfit & Strength Training sessions.

Over the years as the business has developed Amanda has focused on her Pilates training as a side kick to Personal Training and found passion in assisting clients back from injury and post birth easing them back into hard training using Pilates to restructure their bodies! She has full studio and reformer qualifications teamed with rehabilitation and an extensive knowledge of mat work.

Amanda is holistic in her approach to clients focused on emotionally connecting them to their bodies and following the Pilates principals and engaging them in their fitness journey on a mind / body & soul level.
